The MetService didn't get it wrong...

we have lots of snow! (Lots for us anyway, as mentioned in my earlier post we don't usually get any snow).

Before we messed up the snow!

It's warm indoors tonight, not so warm outside though

DH isn't too fussed on the snow, being from Northern Ireland he has seen it all before. He was watching a movie, so I decided to go out and make a snowman. But before I could even get started he was out there gloved up, hat and coat on rolling the first snow for a snowman for me. I left him to it and took photos instead.

Snowmen... lol

Sultanas for eyes, bark for a nose, twigs for arms and a hanging basket for a hat!

There was a lot of activity in our small street, you could hear the laughs of children big and small. Us included!

Chuffed with his creation

Looks like a cockatoo if you ask me!

Have a wonderful week!

Love the photos - I always think that falling snow looks particularly pretty at night! Glad you're enjoying it while you have it! :)

I can just hear the fun and laughter. Isn't it wonderful when we can forget we are grownups and just enjoy. Lovely photos Rowyn.

Yea for snow!!
It doesn't snow much here in NC but I used to live in New England and went to HS in Maine where there is a lot of snow. Is there anything more magical than the quite of snow falling?

What fun! Loved seeing the cooling snow - especially after the hot summer we've had. I'm not rushing winter - just looking forward to the crisp, cool days of autumn!

It's very odd to see snow at this time of year and in your part of the world Rowyn. It's such a contrast to the photos in your last post.

That first snowfall is great and the kiddies get so excited! I like that quiet that happens when the snow has stopped and before people go out, whether to shovel the driveways, or the kids out to play.

What a delight for an area that doesn't ordinarily get any snow! Love your little snow creatures, Rowyn :)

We are still (supposedly) still in summer in the UK so it's strange to see photos of snow!
Lovely pics though, enjoy your snow!

It's true, I LOVE seeing pictures of it, but don't miss the real deal. Haven't had any snow since we're living in Australia.

Looks like you had alot of fun. We don't get snow where we live, we are too close to the sea, but we only live about a two hour drive away from it.
