I am being a good girl...

Instead of a new start, I decided to dip into the UFO/WIP pile and have made some small progress on the Long Dog mystery sampler which I started in 2007.

There really aren't too many bands to go, so I'm hoping it will encourage me to just get on with finishing it!

My DH and I are currently looking for a section to build a house on, so I have been destashing and thinking about getting old projects finished up. When we moved house in March, there were many, many boxes labelled 'craft room'. I'd like to decrease that considerably for when we do find that elusive section!

Have a great week!

Wow, that is one beautiful piece Rowyn. I don't think I have seen it before. It certainly looks like you are close to a finish. Keep it up and it will be off that list in no time.
Good luck hunting for land to build on. What an exciting thing to look forward to.

Wow, that is gorgeous!! Think how nice it'd be to display in a house that you build yourself. ;)

Good luck with the site search. We did that for a few years and only after finding the most perfect site, we found out that we couldn't build there because we weren't from those townlands (which are about a mile wide in each direction). :P I hope it works out better for you... just keep imagining how nicely your stitching will be in the house.

Hi Rowyn,

Wow!! I love this design. I'd
forgotten that you were stitching
this one. I actually got all the
back issues of Gift of Stitching
that had this sampler in it because
I loved it so much and wanted to
stitch it. Your beautiful piece
has me itching to get to it. If
only I had more stitching time!
Sorry, I'm whingeing here.

Good luck with catching up on
your old projects and clearing
up the backlog...so you can
start new stuff.

How exciting, to build your own
house. Hope you find the perfect
piece of land.

I'm haunting the mailbox...just
so you know....

Cheers!

Your sampler is turning out gorgeous! I try to keep my stuff pretty cleaned out too--we can always downsize our stash, but do we *want* to--that is the question!
