A new start

I am all over the show with my stitching at the moment, so a new start it is!

This is Live Simply by Papillon Creations. I think I might stick with this one a while. I am using Victorian Motto Sampler Shoppe thread in Antique Red, which I received in an awesome exchange from Nela a year or so ago. It is such a gorgeous colour.

Thanks for your nice comments on my last post, on my stitching and Phoebe.

My DH was high-fiving Phoebe on Sunday, and it looked several times like she was high-fiving him back. It turns out my sister has been trying to teach her to do this! It may well be sinking in.

Hope your week is going well!

I love the saying on your latest piece, Rowyn...something we should all try to keep in mind! Darling baby photo of Phoebe in your previous post--she looks so contented. Oh, the life of a baby!

One day, Rowyn, I will do a "Red" stitch like this one. It looks very nice!

That's too funny about Phoebe!

Hi Rowyn,

It was so cool to hear from you
again on my blog. I'm going to
try and be a better blogger from
now on....really.

Hmmmm.... Quaker design....
thread in a luscious red color
..... what's not to like?? Your
Live Simply start is looking
simply fabulous!!

Your niece Phoebe is a real
cutie, and looks absolutely
adorable in the hat that you
knit for her. I got a chuckle
envisioning her high fiving
your DH.

You have some really great
WIPs going on at the moment
and it's always fun to see
what you're working on and
the progress you've made.
Very inspiring.

Guess you've got Spring
underway down there, while
we've just had our last full
day of Summer. If I didn't
love Autumn so much I think
I'd shed a tear here. Oh
well. Time marches on.
