Normality resumes (for a little while at least)...

We have just said goodbye to the last of the wedding guests this afternoon, so normality is starting to resume.

Thanks again for all your sweet comments, I intend printing them out and putting them in my wedding box (when I find a pretty one) with all my other mementoes.

As mentioned in my last post I have made some progress on Their Song. I adore the colours in this piece and it grows quite quickly too. This weekend has been icky weather-wise and it is expected to continue, so I hope to make a lot more progress before it's over.

I see other people have been having trouble with the word verification feature when trying to make comments on people's blogs, so I have turned it off on my blog too.

Hope you are having a good weekend!

Just spent some time going through the wedding photos. What a beautiful wedding. The setting was gorgeous, your dress beautiful, loved the red and love your white roses.
Wishing you a very happy married life.
Nice stitching progress too.

Hi Rowyn,

I've somehow been remiss in visiting your blog lately and I missed leaving best wishes for your big day. Rats!!

So belated but nonetheless heartfelt
love and best wishes to you and your
DH and may you have many, many happy
years together.

Your wedding pictures are lovely,
and the bride was beautiful, if I
may say so. And yes, the groom was ever so handsome. The weather seems to have been dry, at least during the important part of the day which was a great relief I'm sure. Your wedding cake looked
very elegant and tasteful. Love the roses (?) on top of it. The touches of red (men's ties, flowers) were a
great choice. You created and
arranged a wonderful day for the
both of you.

You're stitching a favourite
Blackbird design of mine. I've
seen it stitched by many bloggers
and it never fails to charm and
delight. Isn't it nice when the
weather provides us with a great
excuse to stay indoors and stitch?

That Lizzie Kate design that you
stitched for Suzanne turned out
lovely too. I'm going to have
to get that chart. It's so cute
and the verse is perfect, not
to mention the colours.

I ran into the same problem Barbara did, but congratulations on your wedding!

The colours in Their Song are indeed beautiful, but then BBD always has great colours. Love this sampler!
